How it works

You buy it

Stripe takes the payment. You get a gift link and a code, on screen and by email. No account needed.

You send it

Paste the link into a message or a card, or have us email it to them with your note. You choose when they get it.

They choose and take it

They pick one of the four assessments. When they finish, the full report is written from their own answers.

They decide, not you. That’s on purpose: a gift that says “take this one” can say more than you meant.

These are self-exploration tools, not clinical assessments, and none of them diagnoses anything. TraitPath is not affiliated with the IFS Institute.

Companion subscribers: your subscription includes one full report per assessment. Any you haven’t used yourself — say, one you’d already bought before subscribing — you can give away at no cost, from My Reports.

Questions

Will I see their results?

No. Their answers and their report belong to them. If you have a TraitPath account, My Reports shows whether your gift has been used — never which assessment they chose or anything in it.

Can you send it to them for me?

Yes. After you buy, enter their email and we send them a gift email from TraitPath with your name, your note and the link. You can do it straight away, or later from the link in your receipt. We never email them anything else unless they sign up.

Does it expire?

No. The link and the code work until they’re used.

Do they need to create an account?

They create a free one when they finish the assessment — nothing to have or set up beforehand. It’s where their report is saved so they can come back to it, and it takes a few seconds with Google.

What if they’ve already taken the free preview?

The gift unlocks the full version. They open the preview from My Reports, or take the assessment again, and the gift covers it.

Can I give more than one?

Yes — each purchase is one gift, so buy one per person.

What if I change my mind?

Reply to the email within 7 days, before the gift has been used, and you’re refunded.
